DiscoveryBound will hold their biennial national meeting in Boston during this holiday weekend that will include half a day with Longyear Museum.

On Saturday, May 23, about 200 Christian Science students and their friends in the 8th through 12th grades are expected to visit from around the country. Activities will include gallery tours at Longyear followed by a Jeopardy-style quiz in the Museum’s Portrait Gallery. Tours of 400 Beacon Street, the home Mrs. Eddy lived in from 1908 to 1910, will also be offered.

DiscoveryBound is an international interactive community for young adult Christian Scientists and their friends. The Boston meeting enables participants to visit The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and to learn about Mary Baker Eddy and the history of Christian Science. Longyear has participated in five DiscoveryBound national events.
