Beneath the floors: A Look at the Basement

Visitors to Longyear’s Mary Baker Eddy Historic Houses are often curious about the basements and attics of the houses, which are generally “off limits” in tours. At the historic house in Lynn, however, the basement will be available for all to see. In order to preserve the original floor plan of the upper floors, the coatroom and two new accessible restrooms are being located in the basement.
