Members' Vault: Asa Gilbert Eddy

Who is Asa Gilbert Eddy? Mary Baker Glover and Asa Gilbert Eddy were only married for five and one-half years, yet during that brief period, before his untimely death, Asa proved to be a great support to his wife and the cause of Christian Science she was working to establish.
Some years ago Longyear Museum prepared an exhibit that sought to answer that question of just who was Mr. Eddy by examining his life and some of his contributions to the Christian Science movement during the years 1876-1882. The foregoing article drew from that exhibit and was first published in 1988. By re-publishing it now, edited for this format, we can again take advantage of gleaning from that earlier exhibit, and get to know more about Asa Gilbert Eddy.
