Members' Vault: Video History of Mary Baker Eddy

This online video gives Longyear members the opportunity to view the film that welcomes visitors to the Museum, in the Cobb Theater. This 12-minute video is a brief introduction to Mrs. Eddy's life and work, including:
- her search for health throughout her years of illness, culminating in the pivotal events of 1866 that ushered in her discovery of Christian Science
- her years of healing, writing, teaching and preaching, including her writing of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures
- the active years at her home, Pleasant View, in Concord, New Hampshire, (1892-1908) during which she reorganized The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and wrote its Church Manual
- challenges to her authority, such as the Next Friends lawsuit in 1907.
