Focuses on Mary Baker Eddy from 1868-1870, when she wrote “The Science of Man,” completed her notes on the Book of Genesis, started sharing her discoveries with students, and began publicly demonstrating the healing power of Christian Science.
The Stoughton Years includes historical background about Stoughton society, the Wentworth family and their home where Mrs. Eddy lived. It also includes some first-hand accounts of New England society's early response to Christian Science.
