On June 8, 2003, noted author, lecturer and hymnologist, Dr. Peter J. Hodgson presented a two-hour program in the Longyear Portrait Gallery. The audience enjoyed a fresh look at the life and work of a little-known Boston musician - Lyman Brackett - in a talk drawn from Dr. Hodgson's book, A Most Agreeable Man, recently published by Longyear Museum Press. The program included live performances by vocalists with piano accompaniment. This one-hour video is an abridged version of the program.
