Mary Baker Eddy (1899) - Small
A favorite for many years, the original of this 1899 portrait is in the Longyear Museum collection and is based on the artist's study of photographs and observations of Mrs. Eddy in her carriage. The work was undertaken at the request of Christian Scientists in Boston who knew Mrs. Eddy, and the artist showed her the final portrait.
