Joan Iden Bowie, Lyric Soprano (Mezzo Range), Recording Artist, Voice Teacher, with her beautiful and upliftingvoice sings Fred Barnes' music with inspiration and dedication. Her rich background in radio/TV (CBS, Minneapolis, MN; NBC, Washington, DC) Soloist with Minneapolis Pops Symphony Orchestra, Detroit and St. Paul Civic Light Opera companies, shows, concerts and club dates in Southern California, enhances her work as Church Soloist. Her other recordings are "Songs of Inspiration I, II, and III," "In Concert" and "Favorite Solo Settings."

Frederick M. Barnes (Fred), Organist, Composer, Concert Artist, extraordinaire, is a member of the American Guild of Organists, and a former Exec. Member of the Los Angeles Chapter. He has studied at USC, Los Angeles Trinity College of Music, London, and Univ. of New York State. His public appearances include shows on KTLA, KABC and KFAC, and many concerts, also in duo with wife, Mildred, and accomplished organist herself. He has composed and arranged music for organ, instrumental choral and voice, including the eleven numbers on this recording.
