Matching grant met!

Several months ago, we announced that gifts to the 2021 Mary Baker Eddy Historic House Appeal would be matched dollar for dollar up to $100,000—thanks to the generosity of a group of Longyear members.

Today, we’re delighted to let you know that this matching goal has been met!

These funds provide a significant step in covering this year’s operating expenses at the houses, and we’re so grateful for your support. Through guided tours, virtual “Parlor Chats,” in-person and online programs, and video and print publications, Longyear strives to present Mrs. Eddy’s life journey in the context of her role as the Discoverer, Founder, and Leader of Christian Science. And the Mary Baker Eddy Historic Houses enable us to share her story of devotion to God and love for mankind in the very places where she carried out her mission. Your gift to this year’s historic house appeal helps enable us to continue this important work. Thank you from all of us!
