277 Main Street

Join us at the newly restored Mary Baker Eddy Historic House in Amesbury, Massachusetts, during the town’s Amesbury Days celebrations. Be among the first to see the renovations of the home that sheltered Mary Baker Eddy in 1868 and 1870. Learn more about Mrs. Eddy’s formative time in Amesbury as she searched the Scriptures after her discovery of Christian Science, began to write down her findings, healed, and taught. There will be free tours, and the staff involved in the preservation work will be on hand to talk about the project. Try on Victorian clothes and hats, play period games such as quoits, and enjoy some refreshments. Children are welcome!
