This exhibit draws from Longyear’s extensive and unique collection of material relating to Mrs. Eddy’s family. It invites visitors to learn about the Bakers’ deep Christian roots, and experience their genuine affection for each other.

Read and listen to original letters, explore the character of this talented family, and learn why Mrs. Eddy considered her early life an indispensable preparation for her discovery of Christian Science.
