Visit Longyear Museum

Located in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, Longyear Museum features three main exhibits about Mary Baker Eddy that are open to the public.

The museum also houses a collection that includes documents, artifacts, artwork, and more pertaining to Mrs. Eddy and the early history of the Christian Science movement. Visitors who are interested in historical research are encouraged to schedule an appointment in advance.

Open Days and Times

May through December 2026:
Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday: 10 A.M.–4 P.M., Sunday: 1 P.M.–4 P.M.
Closed Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and holidays.

Holiday closures:
Saturday, Sept. 5, through Monday, Sept. 7, in observance of Labor Day

Monday, Oct.12, in observance of Columbus Day
