EFFIE ANDREWS served the Cause of Christian Science for over 25 years. She became a member of The Mother Church in 1894, entered the Christian Science practice in 1895, and was a founding member of Third Church of Christ, Scientist, New York City, later that same year. Upon Mrs. Eddy’s recommendation, Effie was elected a First Member of The Mother Church in 1898. That same year, she and her daughter, E.
