This little photograph album/memory book was compiled by A. Marguerite Smith from photos taken by Miss Emma Shipman of the White Mountain Church. In it, Miss Smith opens with “A history of the White Mountain Church written sometime around 1921, from reminiscences told me by Emma C. Shipman, C.S.B. and from records in Mrs. Eddy’s writings and the Christian Science Journal.” A. Marguerite Smith was a secretary and assistant to Mary Beecher Longyear in her historical work.
